EnergoBit Group gathers today 17 companies under its umbrella.
The Group’s name is not random at all. It is the name of the first company, set in April 1990. The name of EnergoBit brand was born from the conceptual joint of two words: ENERGetics and BIT – information unit.

All along our 17 years of existence, our corporate development was based on values to which we hold on today: human resources, respect, passion, innovation, professionalism, reliability, performance.

We have started in April 1990; we have carried on developing and now we are where we feel best, in our own home.

15^th of November, 2007. The official inauguration of the new EnergoBit Group’s headquarters took place. Tetarom Park I from Cluj-Napoca is now sheltering our new home.

EnergoBit Group is represented along the country in Bucharest, Jibou, Braoov, Bacau and Constan?a. In 2007 we have celebrated 17 years of operation. 17 years later we still have by our side people who gathered as much experience as EnergoBit did.

Our inestimable human resources have always been our most precious fortune. Only three people started this way and today’s family of EnergoBit counts over 370 persons.

A complete solution in electricity requires full coverage of areas like audit, consultancy, design, manufacturing and distribution. The mother company integrates a wide range of energetic products and services, starting from general contracting for electric works, consultancy and design up to metering and telemetering and energy efficiency applications.

EnergoBit Prod is specialized in manufacturing medium voltage electric equipment and represents the exclusive own production unit of the Group.

Enex, one of the newest members of the Group, activates on the electricity and methane gas supply market, insuring at the same time consultancy, telemetering and energy monitoring services.

The ideal of the complete solution brought us, in time, successful partnerships with well known stakeholders in the electro-energetic field. The most important co-operations have lead to creating joint-ventures which are now an integrant part of EnergoBit Group.

Between the seventeen companies of the Group, EnergoBit Schréder Lighting, Energobit Tavrida, EnergoEco, Energolux and Mecelec Plastic Compozit are all companies with mix Romanian and foreign capital.

Energobit Schréder Lighting is the result of the collaboration between EnergoBit and the famous multinational group specialized in outdoor lighting, Schréder Group GIE. Energobit Tavrida, a Romanian-Estonian company, is trading medium voltage devices manufactured by Tavrida Electric. Energolux is offering complex solutions for indoor and stage lighting. Energoeco, a Romanian-Canadian joint-venture is fulfilling the requirements regarding energy saving and clean energy, by co-operating with the Canadian company, Econoler International. Mecelec Plastic Compozit has a majoritary French capital, in partnership with Mecelec Plastiques Composites, France.
